    Over fifteen years in visual communications. Including graphics, print and animated solutions for arts organizations, foundations,       individuals & small businesses. An independently motivated digital print. web & Flash designer with fine art sensibilities; expressing depth and illumination in both copy and visual collateral.Currently working as a freelance Photographer and Flash/graphics/webUI developer

GOALS:

    To provide visual content solutions for social events and critical business concepts. In development: Web Interface Designs; Saratoga Education Foundation and Saratoga Music Boosters (curently being renovated – sample links available upon request)

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

  1.    Promo Designer; West Valley College Public Television Station.
  2.    Logo Design for Amuck Film and Television Productions.
  3.    Uncensored Magazine; Creative director/Graphic Design/Layout for both covers, and four major articles.
  4.    Youtopia Lead Design & Content Developer for the 501(c)3 web organization for at risk youth
  5.    APME (Associated Press Managing Editors) Gazette: Photojournalist Intern.
  6.    Conceptualization/ideation for Seagate HR employee promotion campaign.
  7.     Tvia.com, PlanetWeather.com, and Kidsinit.org; developed GUI and graphic content.

EXPERIENCE:

Part time Student /West Valley College, in web development, graphics, animation and journalism. Work Study as Graphics designer for West Valley College Public Television channel.

Artist in Residence at the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital via Triton Museum’s ArtReach Program also with ArtPath (SJSU Foundation as an image specialist, PAPPA, Palo Alto Parents and Professionals for the Art, and The Palo Alto Arts Center teaching 6- 14 yr old students teaching general art classes, computer graphics, Dream weaver, and Flash design.

Youtopia.org – a non-profit 501C3 as Interactive Content Developer/Project Champion.
BAMTA- Associate Member (Broad Area Multimedia and Technology Association) Duties included developing Youtopia web,
leading breakout sessions for Kidsinit and The Digital Clubhouse non-profit organizations.

    Albany State University, New York, Magna cum laude Major: Anthropology - with emphasis on art / interpersonal communications. Continued education in character and story structures, interactive content creation, on camera presentations, advertising and digital design. Continued Skills: CS3, various op systems, as needed. Currently working towards digital imaging certificate at West Valley College.

Youtopia.org was listed in the 1999 NASA Learning Technologies Project Guide as a developing framework that to cultivate depth in students' perceptions of high technology, and through the creative application of this online learning engine and, to develop stratgeic relationships and stable employment in the high tech industry.
